Project Palooza is our annual family fun day and "friend raising" event to celebrate the services of Project Enlightenment. Booths offer helpful resources and fun activities for families. Listen to popular kid friendly hits from the DJ as you enjoy shaved ice or a snack from the food truck. Check out a book at the Wake County Bookmobile while you're here, and say hello to a local team mascot (NCSU's Tuffy, Muddy the Mudcat, and Sal from the Holly Springs Salamanders have attended in past years). A firefighter or police officer usually drops in to meet the kids, often bringing a vehicle or a canine companion along. And don't forget the swag bags with great information and goodies from our sponsors and vendors!
You don't want to miss this FREE* event! Mark your calendar to join us in the parking lot at Project Enlightenment!
CLICK HERE to take a look at last year's vendor list and see what it's all about!
* Admission and activities are free. Food truck items typically range from $5 to $10.
PALOOZA 2023 CANCELLED
Out of an abundance of caution and in advisement from WCPSS Risk Management, we have made the difficult decision to cancel Project Palooza 2023 due to safety concerns and inclement weather.
