The Power of Play
On Tuesday 23 June, 2026, The Project Enlightenment Foundation unveiled The Power of Play; an initiative to transform the traditional playground at Project Enlightenment into a true outdoor learning environment that celebrates play and fosters skill development introduced in the classrooms.
As we launch our campaign to build the revitalized Project Enlightenment Outdoor Learning Environment, and look toward the future of possibilities and needs of Project Enlightenment, we are thoughtfully reevaluating how we approach events and programming to ensure we are investing our time, energy, and resources in the most impactful and sustainable ways.

What is the Peggy Hibbert Enlightenment Series?
The Peggy Hibbert Enlightenment Speaker Series is a series of educational events created in honor of Dr. Peggy Hibbert, who was devoted to the mission of supporting families with young children. Her vision and willingness to step forward as the first volunteer President led to the creation of the Project Enlightenment Foundation. She helped establish the first Board of Directors for the Foundation and set forth the goals and mission of the Foundation.

Project Palooza
What is Project Palooza?
Project Palooza is celebration of Project Enlightenment's service to children, families and educators. Both a fundraiser and a “friend-raiser", this event serves to promote awareness of Project Enlightenment's programs and services and to raise funding through sponsorships to directly support those programs. It's a family fun day celebrating the work of Project Enlightenment! Enjoy interactive activities for kids and explore a variety of local resources for families.
